His extensive background includes working extensively with K-12 students, particularly adolescents, honing his expertise during his tenure with the YMCA and as a substitute teacher for grades 7 through 12. Keyshun's commitment to mentorship has seen him guide and train numerous students inside and outside the classroom, emphasizing positive pathways to enrich their lives. Having graduated from Natchez High School, Keyshun pursued higher education at Alcorn State University before transitioning to Houston, Texas, where he completed his studies at the MedVance Institute as a sterile processing technician. His professional journey began in the hospital sector before his unwavering dedication to education led him to district schools, imparting invaluable life lessons to students.
