About Tareq Pounall

Tareq Pounall is an experienced and knowledgeable independent financial specialist, with a background in retirement planning and insurance. He has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Prairie View A&M University, and a master’s degree in international business finance from Pittsburgh State University. He is licensed to operate in multiple states, and serves a very diverse client base.

Tareq takes an educational approach, dedicates himself to understanding and appreciating each client’s unique situation before making any recommendations. As a financial specialist, Tareq’s main goal is to help you make well-informed decisions on what types of plans are suitable for you. He only works with ‘A’ rated companies such as Transamerica, Mutual of Omaha, and Federal Life just to name a few.

Before becoming a financial specialist, Tareq was a quality control processor for a food processing company. He is also a former mathematics and physics instructor. In his spare time, Tareq enjoys playing chess, reading, watching movies, fishing, and spending quality time with his wife and kids.
